Dr. Martin S. Forman is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Forman is the Chairman of the Ethics Committee at Reston Hospital and past Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Reston Hospital. He has been in private practice since 1984. Dr. Forman received his medical degree from Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic in 1980. He completed his pediatric residency in 1984 at Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Dr. Forman holds an academic appointment with the University of Virginia and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine INOVA Campus. He has specialized in the evaluation of children and adolescents struggling in school. Dr. Forman’s areas of medical interest are pulmonary, allergy, asthma, dermatology, learning disabilities, sports and dance injuries. Dr. Forman is married with two daughters. He enjoys cooking, community service, and loves to play stringed musical instruments. He speaks Spanish fluently.
