Vaibhavi did her undergraduate from the Gujarat University, India, and Family Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice from George Mason University, Virginia. She has worked in acute, long-term, and primary care settings and has also played leadership and mentorship roles. She is married and has a daughter. She enjoys hiking and growing indoor plants. She is fluent in Gujarati and Hindi.
